For all of my old-time readers since 2021, as you know, this blog was closed for a while, and today, I decided to re-open it. Sometimes, we take God's gifts for granted because we do not reap what we want.
I decided to take a break from writing. As a writer, I had to find time to heal properly. Sometimes, we lose ourselves, and I needed to realize that many gray areas in my life needed help.
There is nothing wrong with accepting that we all have areas to improve. The magic is accepting it and working on becoming better. Many of the wounds inflicted in our lives are our responsibility, and we have allowed this to happen. Taking ownership of these words and meaning them also affects the growth that has taken place in my life.
Life is magical; everything is a lesson, as I have said. The magic is in healing. I have experienced that once you heel (you truly heal), you see life in a different light. I had to experience a life-threatening experience to take me seriously. I had another allergic reaction and was intubated. Only this time, it was different. I realized the importance of truly taking care of your body.
I understood the fragile line between life and death. Once you cross that line, your life is never the same. This was my 19th intubation, and might I say that once I opened my eyes, I was thankful for every cell in my body.
